Privacy Policy

What happens to your files, in plain terms. Most never leave your device at all.

LAST UPDATED AUGUST 2026

This site is built so that there is as little to disclose as possible. Most tools never see your file, there are no accounts, and nothing is stored. Where a file genuinely has to be uploaded, this page says which tools those are and what happens afterwards.

1

Where your files are processed

The tools split into two groups, and each tool page states which it belongs to:

  • 15 tools run entirely inside your browser. Your file is read, processed and saved on your own device, and is never transmitted to us.
  • 4 tools — Word to PDF, Lock PDF, Unlock PDF, Compress PDF — need software a browser cannot run, so the file is uploaded over an encrypted connection.
  • Uploaded files are deleted from the server as soon as your download completes.
  • We do not keep copies, backups or archives of anything you upload.
2

What we collect

Deliberately very little:

  • No account, because there is no sign-up. We do not ask for your name, email or any other identifier.
  • No file history. Nothing you process is associated with you, because there is no “you” on record.
  • No advertising or tracking cookies.
  • Standard server logs may briefly record IP addresses for security and abuse prevention.
3

Passwords you enter

The Lock PDF and Unlock PDF tools need a password to do their work:

  • The password is sent with the file over an encrypted connection and used only for that operation.
  • It is never written to disk, never logged, and never stored.
  • We cannot recover a password you have forgotten. There is no reset, because there is nothing on our side to reset.
4

Cookies and local storage

The site uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Some tools may use your browser’s own storage to remember an option you set, and that data never leaves your device.

5

Third parties

A small number of external services are involved in loading the site:

  • Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
  • The text-recognition engine downloads its English language model from a public CDN the first time you use Image to Text. The image itself is never sent.
  • We do not sell, rent or share any data with anyone, because we do not collect any to share.
6

Children

The tools are general-purpose utilities and are not directed at children. Since we collect no personal information from anyone, we hold none belonging to a child either.

Changes to this policy

If the way files are handled changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. Material changes will be reflected on the affected tool pages as well.
